Background Manager version 1.0.18 released

Today Background Manager version 1.0.18 has been released, and brings a few minor changes and a bug fix.

There was a minor bug in the public-side JavaScript, which gave some error messages in browsers with a JavaScript console enabled. It didn’t affect the actual functioning of the script, but nevertheless needed addressing.

Since 1.0.14, one could also override the background Image Set by the post’s Tag or Category. However, this overrode the post’s own setting, if it was present, which was undesired. The priority has now been changed, in that an override by Tag or Category overrides the default Image Set, and in turn – taking the highest priority – a single post will override Tag and Category.

It was also noted that overriding the background Image Set by Tag or Category, the actual archive page for respective tag or category did not have the Image Set specified, but the default Image Set. This too has been corrected.

And finally, Image Sets listings now display the Tags and Categories that it overrides, to help users identify the correct Image Set.
